Convex, expanding with age, brown, felty when young, becoming smooth with age and cracking to reveal whitish flesh beneath, to about 7.5 cm across

Lemon yellow when young, becoming greenish yellow with age, large, angular, turning blue when bruised

Cylindrical to club shaped, finely lined, lemon yellow at the apex sometimes with a bright red band beneath, brown below, mycelium at the base white

Flesh

Soft and lemon yellow in the cap and stem apex, fibrous and brownish in the rest of the stem, not turning blue when bruised
