Thin, sulphur yellow
Strong, coal tar or gas
Late summer to autumn
In deciduous and mixed woods, usually with oak or beech
Spores ellipsoidal, smooth (9-12) x (5-6.5) µm2
This species is easily recognised by the strong smell
