Edibility Edible, poor Notes The specimens shown were identified using the keys and descriptions in The Genus Tricholoma by Christensen and Heilmann-Clausen. It is distinguished from T. pessundatum by the radially fibrillose cap, grooved margin, and gills with brown spots. The identification has not been independently confirmed. Specimens were lodged at Kew as Tricholoma cf pessundatum, before purchase of The Genus Tricholoma. Note that Kew do not recognise this as a British species. |
