Larch Bolete

Cap

Convex, then flattened, smooth, often wrinkled, shiny when dry, viscid when damp, chrome yellow then flushed rust, to about 10 cm across

Pores

Small, angular, pale yellow, ochraceous with age, rust where bruised

Stem

+/- equal, slender, concolorous with the cap, decorated with a network especially at the apex, with a whitish apical ring

Flesh

Pale lemon-yellow in the cap, darker in the stem, firm
