Microscopic Features

Spores ellipsoidal to subglobose, smooth (very rarely minutely warted), cyanophilous (6-11) x (6-8.5) µm2. Basidia clavate 4 spored, containing drops, with a basal clamp. Hyphal system monomitic, with clamps, 3-5 µm wide, cyanophilous. Cystidia not present. Hyphal ends present in the basidial layer.
