Convex, expanding with age, date brown to yellowish brown when moist, pale when dry, sparsely covered with coarse white scales, lined when moist, to about 3 cm across

Microscopic Features

Spores ellipsoidal, smooth with a germ pore (10-13) x (5.5-7) µm2. Basidia four spored. Gill face cystidia flask shaped. Gill edge cystidia flask shaped and broadly club shaped.
