Microscopic Features

Spores narrowly ellipsoidal to cylindrical, smooth, with droplets (7-11) x (3.5-5) µm2. Basidia slenderly club shaped, 4 spored, with basal clamp. Hyphal system monomitic, hyphae 3 to 4 µm wide, thin walled, with clamps. Lamprocystidia narrowly spindle shaped and heavily encrusted. Stephanocysts very rarely present.
