Fruiting Body Forming a thin layer on the substrate, loosely attached, smooth to lumpy, whitish to greyish to ochraceous, margin thinning out. Flesh Waxy or gelatinous, thin, soft Smell Indistinct Season All year Distribution Common Habitat On dead wood from deciduous and coniferous trees Microscopic Features Spores narrowly ellipsoidal to cylindrical, smooth, with droplets (7-11) x (3.5-5) µm2. Basidia slenderly club shaped, 4 spored, with basal clamp. Hyphal system monomitic, hyphae 3 to 4 µm wide, thin walled, with clamps. Lamprocystidia narrowly spindle shaped and heavily encrusted.
