Conical to bell shaped, usually with a small bump at the centre, dark brown to pale brown, paler towards the margin, radially lined, 5 to 25 mm across

Narrowly adnate, white to pale grey, pale brown or pale pink

Equal, hollow, fragile, whitish, grey brown or brown, darkening towards the base, white mycelium at the base

Microscopic Features

Spores ellipsoidal, smooth (8-11) x (4-6) µm2. Basidia club shaped, 2 and 4 spored. Gill edge cystidia cylindrical, club shaped or balloon shaped, decorated with spines or small prutuberances. Gill face cystidia similar.
