Microscopic Features

Spores ellipsoidal, smooth (7.5-13) x (4-6) µm2. Basidia club shaped, 4 spored. Gill edge cystida spindle shaped, or flask shaped, gradually tapering to a rounded tip, sometimes branched at the end. Pileipellis hyphae septate with clamps, top layer densely covered with short blunt spines.
