Basidia club shaped, 4 spored. Gill edge cystida spindle shaped, or flask shaped, gradually tapering to a rounded tip, sometimes branched at the end. Pileipellis hyphae septate with clamps, top layer densely covered with short blunt spines. Edibility Unknown Notes This species could be confused with several species including Mycena filopes.
