Microscopic Features

Spores ellipsoidal (8-10) x (4-5) µm2. Basidia four spored. Hairs at cap margin encrusted, tips smooth, cylindrical to club shaped.

Edibility

Unknown but of no value

Notes

The wood beneath the fungus is covered with a mycelial mat or subiculum. This fungus cannot reliably be separated from other members of the same genus without microscopy.
