Synonymns Lyophyllum deliberatum Cap Convex, expanding with age, often with a broad central bump, smooth, hygrophanous, yellowish brown to grey brown, bruising black, to about 9 cm across Gills Moderately crowded, adnate, sometimes with a decurrent tooth, whitish, bruising bluish then black Stem Cylindrical to club shaped, whitish to greyish, turning slowly black on bruising Flesh Whitish, slowly turning black Smell Mealy Season Autumn Distribution Very rarely recorded, quite probably overlooked or misidentified Habitat Usually in coniferous woods, rarely with deciduous trees Spore Print White Microscopic Features Spores almond shaped or rhomboidal depending on viewpoint, smooth (8.5-11.5) x (5-6.5) µm2. Edibility Unknown Notes Both collections were found in the same location. They were identified using the keys and descriptions in Funga Nordica.
