Yellow Cracking Bolete

Cap

Convex, finely downy, sometimes cracking with age, yellowish, about 4 to 14 cm across

Pores

Fine, lemon yellow, brownish with age, darkening on bruising

Stem

Club shaped, whitish to pale yellow, with darker flecks, to about 12 cm high and 3.5 cm wide

Flesh

Pale yellow in the cap, vinaceous then brick on cutting, greyish in the stem, vinaceous on cutting
