Cap

Convex, then flattened or depressed, smooth, pinkish to ochraceous buff, banded, with small darker slightly depressed spots, to about 8 cm across

Gills

Decurrent, crowded, pale pinkish

Stem

Cylindrical, whitish to concolorous with the cap, hollow

Flesh

Firm, whitish, producing a white milk which rapidly turns sulphur yellow
