Cap

Conical, then flattened, often with a central bump, smooth, margin lined, yellow brown to orange brown, drying paler, often with a pale centre and darker margin, to about 6 cm across

Adnate, crowded, pale ochraceous, then reddish brown

Equal, smooth above the ring zone, coarsely scaly below, ring thin, pale at apex, dark brown below
