Fruiting Body Resupinate, smooth, lumpy or with irregular teeth, whitish to ochracous, margin white to pale yellow, fibrous Flesh Firm Season All year Distribution Rarely recorded, but frequent on beech in the New Forest Habitat On dead wood from deciduous trees Microscopic Features Spores narrowly cylindrical, to suballantoid, smooth, (9-15) x (3-4.5) µm2, Q = 1.5-1.8. Basidia 4 spored, narrowly clavate to subcylindrical. Hyphal system monomitic, hyphae 2 to 5 µm wide, clamped. Leptocystidia subcylindrical, thin walled, smooth.
