Convex, with translucent radial lines at the margin, surface greasy, bright red, rarely orange, sometimes with a yellow margin, about 1 to 6 cm across

Broadly adnate, sometimes with a decurrent tooth, yellow, then red with a yellow edge

Equal, cylindrical or flattened, surface dry, smooth, hollow, concolorous with the cap or paler, to about 6 mm wide and 7 cm high
