Basidia 4 spored. Gill edge cystidia clavate to lageniform with one to three apical fingers, sometimes with pointed or branched apex. Gill face cystidia fusiform, thick walled, often with a conical encrusted apex, resembling an ice cream cone. Edibility Inedible
