Convex, often with a central bump, radially lined, yellowish to yellowish orange, paler when dry, to about 3 cm across

Broad, distant, adnexed to adnate emarginate, yellowish, then yellowish brown

Microscopic Features

Spores ellipsoidal, finely warty with a slightly irregular outline (11-17) x (6-8) µm2. Basidia club shaped, 2 or 4 spored. Stem cystidia cylindrical, capitate (with an expanded head). Gill edge cystidia skittle shaped (lageniform, capitate).
