Microscopic Features

Spores ellipsoidal, smooth, weakly cyanophilic, dextrinoid (9-13) x (6-8) µm2. Basidia clavate, four spored. Hyphal system monomitic, clamps sometimes present in basal hyphae. Cystidia absent.

Notes

Rather similar to C. puteana, and distinguished by dextrinoid spores and forming a thinner and smoother layer on the substrate
