Cap Inverted cup shaped (cyphelloid), flattening with age, margin +/- lobed, laterally attached to the substrate, pale brown to whitish, to about 1 cm across Gills Smooth then vein like, pale brown Stem Absent Flesh Thin, whitish Smell Faint, of Pelargonium Taste Indistinct Season Autumn to spring Distribution Rare, probably overlooked Habitat On moss Spore Print White Microscopic Features Spores tear drop shaped with a distinct apiculus at the narrow end, smooth (6-10) x (3.5-5) µm2. Basidia club shaped, 4 spored. Gill cystidia absent. Clamp connections absent. Edibility Inedible Notes This species could easily be confused with A. spathulata.
