Cap

Convex, then flattened, smooth, covered with wart-like veil remnants, margin ragged, whitish, to about 15 cm across

Free, broad, whitish to light brown, sometimes with a green or yellow tinge

Tapered upwards, scaly towards the base, ring fleshy and pendulous, deeply rooting, white

Firm, white, sometimes with a greenish tinge in the stem base
