Convex, expanding with age, with a central bump, smooth, margin lined, pale yellow to pale orange, to about 12 cm across

Notes

Amanita ceciliae is readily distinguished by the grey veil fragments on the cap. Amanita fulva is less robust and lacks the zig zag pattern on the stem.
