Top or fan shaped, white, then reddish brown, zoned, to about 20 cm wide.

Whitish, then pinkish, sometimes exuding droplets of red liquid when young, irregular, large, often slot like, often decurrent

Microscopic Features

Basidiospores ellipsoidal, hyaline, inamyloid, smooth (4.5-6.5) x (3.5-5) µm2. Chlamydospores sub-spherical (3-5) x (3-4.5) µm2. Basidia slender, clavate, four spored. Hyphal system monomitic, clamps present. Gloeocystidia slender, sinuous, clavate.
